San Diego Burger Joint Gets National Attention
Local burger joints are going national. CNN released it's five tastiest burger joints worth visiting, and Hodad's in Ocean Beach made that list.

"We have people from all over the world coming in. It is really cool, you know," said Jeremy Diam manager Hodad's. "People from Georgia came in today. We get people from Japan, Brazil, Arkansas. We even had a couple people come in from Canada today."

According to its website, Hodad's been making burgers since 1969. Known for it's bacon burger, the restaurant claims to have served under 99 billion people.

Hodad's may have been on the list, but there are other San Diego burger restaurants claiming the top prize of "best burger." Many people claim other hamburger joints, like Crazee Burger in North Park and Rocky's in Pacific Beach, are equally worthy.

"As far as I'm concerned for my money it's the best burger in town," said Mereideth Smith of Pacific Beach, referring to Rocky's.

The burger wars continue. Other burger joints that made the list include restaurants in Georgia, Connecticut, Indiana, and Mississippi.
