It's been two and a half weeks and still no sign of the McStay family. For the first time, Summer McStay's family is speaking out, begging the public for help.

"Everybody out there who's watching this, please help us bring this family home," said Blanche Aranda clutching a picture of her daughter's family and wiping away tears.

Summer McStay, her husband Joseph and their sons Gianni, 5, and Joseph, 3, were last heard from on February 4th. The family's white Isuzu Trooper was found near the Mexican border February 8th. A family friend, who went to check on them, found the McStay's two dogs had been left without food and water.

The family's Fallbrook home was searched by homicide investigators who say they don't know what happened to them.

"I'm tired of thinking," said Summer's mother Blanche. "I don't know what to think. Somebody doesn't just pick up and vanish. Somebody had to have seen something out there. It might have not been important to them, but it is to us."

Summer's brother Kenneth flew in over the weekend from his home in Hawaii to be with Summer's extended family in San Bernardino. He said the family is at a loss for what could have happened.

"There's no one in particular that we think might have hurt them, but of course our minds are open to anything that could happen," said summer's brother Kenneth Aranda.

Summer's family met with Joseph's family Saturday afternoon. The families said it was important to come together and unite.

"(We wanted) to comfort one another cause we're all on the same page trying to get them to come home," said Summer's sister Tracy Russell.

The family said sheriff's investigators have no leads and still don't know what could have happened to the family of four. A website has been set up in the McStay family's honor. Pictures can be viewed at the site and the family can be contacted.
