LEMON GROVE, Calif. -
Four men are on the loose after severely beating Lemon Grove residen t during an attempted home invasion robbery.
According to investigatros, It all started with a knock on the victim's bedroom window. The person standing outside his home on the 8300 block of Central Avenue said he had just hit the resident's car, and he needed to come outside. When the victim opened the door and walked out, someone grabbed him and pointed a gun at him.
Three other men moved in, but the security gate closed behind the resident. They told the other people in the home to open up the door, but they refused. The victim fought with the men and while trying to wrestle the gun away from the suspect, he noticed the gun was made of plastic.
The victim did his best to fight off his attackers, while someone inside the home called the police.
The victim described one of the attackers as a 45-year-old hispanic man with a ponytail. He stands about 5 feet 10 inches tall and has a "fumanchu" style mustache. His face is covered in tattoos. There's an "L" on his nose, a spider web under his left eye and several tattoos under his mouth.
The attackers were last scene getting away in a newer model Dodge Ram or Ford F150 truck.
