The days of the pull slot machine might be coming to an end as the gaming industry banks on the latest high-tech machines.

"It's all about touch screens and buttons, touch screens and buttons," said Daniel Tucker, Sycuan Band Tribal Chairman. "People want to play fast. They want to have fun and enjoy themselves, and when they want cash they hear cling, cling --- out comes the ticket."

The conference highlights the slot machines with push buttons, roulette tables were computer screens, and animated voices in some machines have taken on the role of dealer.

Around 450 exhibitors and over 5,000 people are expected to attend the two day convention.

This year marks the 25th Anniversary of the Indian Gaming Association.

Sound exciting? You bet . But attendees will be playing the machines just for fun (no payouts) at the convention.
