It's a portable micro-refinery fuel system for consumer use.
The company's chief marketing officer and managing partner, Sean Entin, is proud to share with FOX 5 about the E-Fuel Microfueler. The fuel pump will take thousands of garbage such as algae and then convert them into energy to power your cars and homes.
"We take organic waste, make organic fuel and organic water," Entin said.
The organic fuel is produced by using carbohydrate waste products found also in brewery waste and cellulose. It uses state-of-the-art semiconductor technology that can be installed at residences by GreenHouse distribution team.
"This will revolutionize the way we use fuel for cars ", the company Chief Sustainability Officer, Brian Freer, said.
The company's President, Russ Earnshaw, eventually wants every home to have an E-fuel Microfueler. A distribution truck will deliver the feedstock to the microfueler.
"This is where the magic happens. This is the machine and technology," Earnshaw said.
GreenHouse plans on creating 500 green jobs in the next two years and making America's Finest city as the model "green city".
"It's great. It's fantastic what they're doing. That they're looking for new things, new alternatives," Lopez said.
