The old Casey’s Nickelodeon site has looked its age of late, but the faded coat of paint and ’80s décor haven’t kept away the bartenders, strippers and incorrigible barflies who make it the last call before beddy-bye. Open nightly from 4 p.m. to 8 a.m., the crowd peaks around 5 a.m. with fully dressed dancers from area strip clubs dropping by for their version of happy hour. The kitchen stays open all night and into the early morning, and there’s an outdoor patio bar with a cigarette vending machine for smokers. New owners acquired the club recently and have plans to renovate, not that it will matter to the predawn crowd. Like the fading beauty on the barstool, Casey’s looks better and better the closer it gets to sunrise.
