  14. Carlsbad students quarantined in China

    The Chinese government continues to quarantine 35 Carlsbad private school students and their seven chaperones because of the worldwide swine flu scare.
The group left the U.S. on July 2nd, and were quarantined on Thursday. The group was originally part of a 13-day educational tour of China. In a press release the private school states  some students showed signs of sniffles and upset stomach, and that the quarantine is in compliance with the Chinese government and World Health Organization protocols.
