    Brad was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona, but has always been a beach bum at heart. Touring the beach volleyball circuit during his late teens/early 20's kept him traveling to the beach dreaming of the day when he could settle down in SD.  So, in the quest of getting to San Diego, he moved west, well as far west as you can get in Arizona...YUMA!  Brad's last five years were spent in Yuma at KYMA, the NBC affiliate as their main weather anchor and special event "go to guy". Although animals and fire department charities are closest to his heart, he received numerous awards for his charitable work in other areas too. In 2006, Brad was awarded with the American Red Cross "REAL HERO AWARD" for organizing a two-day fundraiser that raised over $140,000 for the victims of Hurricane Katrina.
